Anna Zakharova is an artist and art teacher based in St. Petersburg, Russia.

She trained at the B. V. Ioganson Art Lyceum and later graduated from the Saint Petersburg Repin Academy of Arts — one of Europe's foremost institutions for classical art.
Her diploma work received a commendation from the examination committee.

After graduation, she worked in the Academy's Laboratory of Techniques and Technologies of Easel Painting, deepening her knowledge of traditional and contemporary painting materials and methods.

Anna's work sits at the intersection of academic discipline and lyrical sensibility. She paints in the tradition of contemporary realism, bringing careful attention to light, air, and color alongside openness to personal interpretation.
